What is a gastric balloon ?
A temporary silicone balloon will be replaced to fill the stomach for you to feel full for longer.
Candidates For The Procedure.
- Patients with a Body Mass Index greater than 40
- Patients with a Body Mass Index greater than 35 with conditions such as type II diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance, sleep apnea, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and/or heart disease caused by obesity
- Patients with a Body Mass Index greater than 30 with serious health problems
